Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, was the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021 to 2022. As a part of the Democratic Party, she previously served in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009); the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011) and the spokesperson of the United States Department of State (2013-2015) as well as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a political contributor for CNN from 2017 until 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 as an influential political contributor to CNN. She worked on campaign for re-election of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was later appointed the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was in office from 2005 until 2006 as the communications director of Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as press secretary for President Obama's 2012 reelection campaign. [20] Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State in February 2013. Her appointment in the Department of State fueled speculation that she would succeed White House Press Secretary Jay Carney when he left the White House, on May 30th the 30th of May, 2014, it was announced that Josh Earnest would replace Carney. The White House welcomed her back to the White House in 2015 as the communications director, and she remained there until the closing of the Obama presidency.
