Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24 the 24th of November, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a presidential hopeful as an American television host at MSNBC, a frequent contributor of The Huffington Post, former host and co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball have made it clear they were leaving the show at the end of May in 2021. They wanted to create their own project, which they named Breaking Points. Ball is co-hosting with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has made guest appearances on networks such as CNN, CNBC, Fox News as well as programs like Real Time with Bill Maher. As of the year 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball attributes her passion for politics due to the reality that she became a mother during the 2008 primaries, and was also able be able to watch the US presidential elections while in Jordan. She witnessed how it affected the people of that country, and came to appreciate for US politics' global impact. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. From June 2012 through July 2015, she was host of The Cycle, an MSNBC program The Cycle. She was co-hosting The Cycle, a show on MSNBC, from June 2012 until July 2015.
